September 1, 2009 Registration deadlines have now passed. All payments must include the full registration fee. The soccer season will begin on September 12 for Travel and September 13 for In Town. Teams will be formed over the next few weeks and players will be contacted sometime during the week of September 7, at the latest.

June 12, 2009 Leominster Youth Soccer will be hosting the 2009 Nashoba Cup Tournament for GU12 @ Samoset Field next weekend June 20th - 21st. The tournament will feature the top 8 GU12 NCup Division teams from the NVYSL. All are welcome to come down and cheer on our local GU12A Team. April 16, 2009 The 2009 Spring Season has begun and Registrations are now closed. April 11, 2009 Today is the last day to register for the Spring 2009 In Town program. If you are interested in signing you child up and have not done so, please use our online system to register and pay online. March 31, 2009 All travel teams are now full and we are no longer accepting Spring 2009 registrations for players who roster in the Travel league. UPDATE - Indoor Soccer Clinic Times and Schedules Thank you everyone for your interest in the girls\boys Travel and Division 1 & 2 in-town Sundays indoor soccer clinics. Registration and signups are still going on, so pass the word. February 1, 2009 All registration deadlines have been passed. Any registration and/or payment received after today must include the full fee of $70 for In Town and $80 for Travel. The Spring Travel Season will run from April 11, 2009 - June 7, 2009. The Spring In Town Season will run from April 19, 2009 - June 14, 2009.

the outstanding success of the Leominster Youth Soccer Boys’ under 12,
under 14 and
under 18 teams. The teams qualified for the finals of the Massachusetts
Tournament of Champions that were held at U.Mass. Amherst , June 22 – June
24 and for the Nashoba Cup Tournament held June 16th. Outstanding performances in the regular season resulted in
these teams
representing the Nashoba Valley League in the these tournaments. LEOMINSTER UNDER 14 BOYS WIN MASSACHUSETTS STATE SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP!
Coaches: Geoff Anthony and Mike DiGeronimo LEOMINSTER BOYS UNDER 12A TEAM The U12A team secured a playoff spot in the Nashoba Cup tournament with a solid 5-3-0 record during the season. It's worthy to note that after a slow start the boys won 5 games in the row. Although they didn't manage to carry this momentum to the tournament it was a great experience to all to be exposed to the tournament atmosphere. the team members were: Ivan Abbermagger, Bradley Bedard, Andrew Bouchard, Anthony D'Olimpio, Maximiliano Delgado, Matthew Fitch, Patrick Flory, Michael Howard, Kenyon Kowalski, Hector Porcal, Daniel Romhanyi and Nicholas Trim under the coaching of Sean Flory, Gabor Romhanyi and Donald Fitch.

Field conditions permitting, U10-U14 games are scheduled to begin Saturday, April 7th and U16-U18 start on Sunday, April 1st. The Teams and Schedules page has been uploaded and your coach should call you soon with his practice times. The Board members of Leominster Youth Soccer have been working hard for months to organize the season and we are very excited to see it finally kick into gear. We are still looking for a volunteer to organize the Snack Bar during the upcoming session. Contact any of the Board Members for details. We were fortunate this fall to have fairly decent weather and were able to play almost all our games. We need to thank all our volunteers for all their contributions to another successful season and for their help continuing to grow this wonderful sport in the city of Leominster. We ask all parents not to delay their registration for the upcoming spring season. We can only guarantee placement for children registered before December 1st, 2006. Unfortunately we were forced to turn away some players last season due to late registration. The number of teams has to be submitted to the League in mid-December and once those rosters fill up we are unable to expand them. Don't let your child miss out on the fun next spring! Oct 31, 2006 On Saturday, October 28, nearly all of the NVYSL fields were shut down due to bad weather. Any matches postponed this weekend, Week 7, are automatically rescheduled for the same time and place on November 11, one weekend after Week 8. Note that the normal 4 PM start time for BU14 matches does not give enough daylight to play a full match after standard time takes effect on Sunday morning, October 29. BU14 coaches need to work together to agree upon an earlier start time, changing matches to fields with earlier open time slots, or playing matches shortened by darkness.
